Blender or food processor
Sharp knife (adult needed)
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 jalapeno pepper, stemmed and seeded, optional
Fresh cilantro, to taste
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
6 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 apple, cored and sliced
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Serves: 3
Instructions
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter.
In a blender or food processor, blend onion, garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, salt and pepper until finely minced.
Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until desired consistency.
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to three days.
