About Us

Supporting well-being through all stages of life

About PowerUp

What is PowerUp?

PowerUp is a community-wide initiative that invites people to explore what supports their health and well-being through food, movement, rest, connection and more.

Why PowerUp?

PowerUp creates opportunities to explore and build habits that support lifelong health and well-being. This includes:

  • Information and resources that support everyday well-being.

  • Newsletters, toolkits, recipes and ready-to-use materials

  • Programs, classes and community outreach events

  • Partnerships that help build more connected, healthier communities

Everyday experiences – like food, movement, connection and rest – influence health over time. Health and well-being are also shaped by more than individual choices, and not everyone has the same access to the resources or opportunities that support their well-being. PowerUp focuses on creating simple, supportive opportunities that make health and well-being more accessible and approachable in everyday life.

Everyone can PowerUp

PowerUp began with a focus on kids and families and continues to grow alongside the communities we serve. Today, our work supports well-being across all stages of life, with a continued focus on creating positive, inclusive opportunities for everyone. And we’re continuing to grow and expand, with more resources to come as we build support for people of all ages.
